DESCRIPTION:*** Ticketed Event *** \nElizabeth McGovern and Ann Cusack set to premiere new music show. \nCombining original songs written by McGovern and her band\, “Sadie and the Hotheads” and the Classic Blues that Cusack performs with “The Generation Jones Band”\, the two women will talk about their decades long friendship in a changing world. Elizabeth McGovern’s career spans theatre\, film\, television and music. \nFor her work\, she has been nominated for Academy\, Emmy\, and Golden Globe awards\, and has won three SAG ensemble awards. She has recently reprised her role as Lady Cora Crawley in the third Downton Abbey film\, which is set for release in September\, 2025. \nMcGovern also fronts and writes songs for her band “Sadie and the Hotheads”\, and has performed globally with them. The band have released four albums and are currently working on their fifth. \nAnn Cusack has appeared in a variety of roles in film and television spanning three decades. A versatile actress\, she has been in every genre of TV and film\, carried series\, as well as independent films\, and\, currently can be seen in such shows as Better Call Saul\, The Boys\, on Amazon\, and Ripley on Netflix. \nIn films\, she has worked with a smorgasbord of actors\, including Tom Hanks in Sully\, Jake Gyllenall in Nightcrawler\, and Matt Damon in The Informant. \nIn 2021\, Cusack formed “Ann Cusack and the Generation Jones Band”\, and has performed with them numerous times in Los Angeles. \nMusical director Simon Nelson (also guitar/vocals) is a session musician who has played venues such as The Royal Albert Hall\, and the O2 Arena . \nHe writes and records with his brother Steve Nelson as “The Nelson Brothers”. He’s composed music for TV\, radio and film along with numerous radio commercials. \nHe’s Sadie’s hottest head in the band: “ Sadie and the Hotheads” with Elizabeth McGovern \, and is a Dr. of music with a Ph.D. in Ethnomusicology. \nTickets now available for £10 from www.thamessidebrewery.co.uk with no booking fees.

DESCRIPTION:Free Entry \nSteve founded pop/new wave sensation “The Jam” along with Paul Weller way back in 1972\, and whilst they subsequently went their separate ways they still remain friends and play and record together frequently – most recently\, adding guitar to Mr Weller’s smash album “66”. \nAs an accomplished singer / songwriter guitarist he performs in the UK and Europe. His body of work comprises of five acclaimed albums of original songs. For this date\, he will be presenting a stunning evening of “Blues and Roots” and having recently played an excellent set at the “Fiery Bird Americana Festival”\, we know you will enjoy this performance!
