Their shows encompass a full range of classic Glam Rock hits from that period in 1970’s when flamboyance in dress-sense and music was omni-present. \nSlurred do their very best to bring this experience to you with every performance and guarantee that you’ll be out on the dance floor shaking your thaang!! But of course this always works best if you’re dressed for the part too….. So don’t forget your best flares\, platforms and other glam gear. The shinier\, the better. DESCRIPTION:Free Entry \nUnfortunately we have had to change the band from the Sharpeez to the Quest. \nThe Quest Band are a mature semi pro trio playing hit songs from the 60s & 70s and onwards.\nWith quality harmonies and a full sound\, Quest are guaranteed to get your feet tapping with some\ngreat melodies and memory’s. \nJON LAIDLAW: Guitar and vocals has been playing since his teenage years and formed Quest In\n2019.\nNow successfully playing across the south of England at prestigious event like The British Motor\nShow\, Blackbushe Airport anniversary days and party in the park(Gosport). Jon loves to add\nQuest’s arrangements to most of the songs they play\, giving their sound a unique feel.\nPAUL JOHNSON: Bass and backing vocals with his metronomic style adds to the quality of\nsound produced by Quest. Adding backing vocals when required paul’s melodic bass helps drive\nQuest’s sound \nADRIAN HARRIS: Cajon drum/Tambo and backing harmony vocals brings a unique sound to what\nhas been described “Fantastic” Adrian’s timekeeping and falsetto harmonies is very much the\ningredients that make Quest Band a pretty special cover trio!\nQuest is a complete trio playing popular hits from bands like the Bee Gees\, Beatles\, The who\, the\nJam\, R Dean Taylor\,The Eagles and many more. The project comes via Andy ‘The Smokeboss’ Mensing\, renowned for his work as the rhythm guitarist in San Diego-based punk act Rat City Riot. The ever-eclectic Mensing successfully pursues a rootsier rock charm here\, supported by a collective of musicians.’ \nMike Mineo – Obscure Sound \nThe Smokeboss Militia is the newest project of Andy ‘Smokeboss’ Mensing\, former guitarist in Rat City Riot\, and a litany of other bands you probably never heard of. Even since his beginnings in Underground Punk\, Mensing always refused to limit himself to one ‘genre’. Rock\, Blues\, Country\, Soul\, Punk and Irish are just some of the categories he draws from to create an experience where people hear some songs they know\, meet some songs they don’t\, and generally just have a good time. Good songs are good songs\, doesn’t really matter what you call them. So a Smokeboss set is usually an eclectic mix of songs from every corner of the spectrum while also featuring his own original creations. \nJoin The Smokeboss on guitar with Lucia ‘Shash’ Leahy on banjo and mandolin\, and Greg Sherman on lead guitar on the ‘Rise Again UK Tour’ this summer. \n  \n
